(Sorry this is in slideshow format rather than video. I messed up the audio and wound up losing it entirely due to an accidental save. Oops. Will try not to do that again!)

The HTML files (in various stages of development), CSS, and images are included for you to play around with as well.

At long last (sorry, sorry!) I’ve uploaded the video screencast from our February class about the differences between print design and web design….

As you start playing with HTML/CSS, here are some handy, hand-picked resources for you!
There’s a lot of outdated HTML information online, so be careful when you’re Googling tutorials. Try to stay focused on finding items related to “XHTML” (the most popular recent version of HTML). Avoid anything that encourages to mix presentation (fonts, colors, etc.) with structure and content, as that’s usually a sign that it’s an old-school tutorial.
Here’s some James-approved stuff for you! If you read and watch all these links, you should be feeling pretty good about HTML/CSS by the time you’re done.
HTML (markup for content and structure)

Here’s the final HTML/CSS we came up with during the last class (it was beautiful, remember?), as well as a fresh HTML file for you to play with:
In the fresh one, I cleared out most of the HTML (I left the basic page structure) and emptied the CSS. I’ll post some resources soon where you can learn more about HTML and CSS and get some ideas to play with.
YOUR HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT:
Play around with the HTML/CSS, and see what you can come up with.
Have questions or problems? Talk about them in the forum!
